Just what I was looking for

I was so pleased to find this line of Bible based toys. I am happy with them for the most part. The only small complaint I have is that some of them are not as handsome as they could be, such as odd colored/painted eyes. I am thinking of trying to use a very fine tipped brush and touch them up a little. I do like that the name of each disciple is printed on their back so that kids can learn them more easily. They can double for other characters too if needed. Just this week we were acting out the story of Moses receiving and giving the 10 commandments. The disciples had to be the Israelites at the bottom of the mountain. We also have the additional Moses figure, but if you didn't you could easily choose one of these to play his role.

I have read complaints about the boat sail. As soon as we received it I super glued the sail in the slots and I have had no issues at all. I love this series of Bible based toys! I do wish there were more women characters in the series as a whole. I ended up buying 5 of Mary and painting their clothes different colors so we could have more female figures, which are necessary for some stories.
